PLIESETM engages a learner based on their needs and wants. This can be presented to us in a number of ways, such as self recommendation by the student, nomination by you the family, or recommendation through education, health or business professionals. Basically, we don’t mind. If you think the PLIESE methodology is something of interest to your child, we are here to help!
So how does it work from a family perspective? The PLIESE methodology promotes family interaction. All goal-based projects involve families, and as you can see by our feedback page, families can attest, their involvement has been rewarding on many levels.
Your involvement is by offering support to your child as a Learning Partner. This role can be taken by a nominated family member, or the whole unit. The Learning Partner logs on to the PLIESEbase where the PLIESE is managed, and adds at least one 400 character report based on the progress of the project. This is a simple exercise with maximum output, and don’t worry, The Team at PLIESE Pty Ltd talk you through it along the way, as much as needed.
PLIESE projects are used to showcase the learner’s attributes, and can be done on a local scale (individual) to a global scale - this is up to the Project Manager. The outcomes of the PLIESE have many benefits and applications for learners.
